Custom Rolex Watch: Pure Silver Skull Engraving from the 1910s

Movement Overhaul and Custom Recasing

The Rolex Custom Watch Pure Silver Skull Full Engraving 1910s is a truly unique timepiece that combines a vintage 1910s Rolex pocket watch movement with a custom wristwatch design. The movement has undergone a meticulous overhaul to ensure its optimal functioning and reliability.

Caliber Details and Features

The watch features a caliber from the 1910s with 17 jewels, denoted by the serial number 13276. This mechanical hand-winding movement offers approximately 24 hours of power reserve. The time can be set precisely by gently pulling the crown to adjust the long hand alignment.

Exquisite Stainless Steel Case

The case of the watch is made of stainless steel, providing durability and a classic aesthetic. It has been expertly engraved with a captivating skull design, showcasing fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. The front and back of the case are protected by new mineral glass, which allows for a clear view of the intricate dial and movement. Opening the front and back covers is possible by carefully prying them open.

Dimensions and Customization

The case has a substantial size, measuring approximately 48mm (excluding the crown) and 15.2mm in thickness. The lug width is approximately 22mm, providing a comfortable fit on the wrist. This particular timepiece is a custom-made creation, offering a one-of-a-kind design that sets it apart from mass-produced watches.

Intricate Skull Dial and Luminous Hands

The dial of the watch showcases a stunning and realistic skull motif, etched on a pure silver plate. The craftsmanship is truly remarkable, capturing the fine details of the skull design. The hands of the watch are gold-plated and luminous, allowing for easy readability even in low-light conditions.

Exceptional Engraving and Sapphire Detailing

The meticulous engraving extends beyond the dial to the bridge and lower plate on the reverse side, showcasing an uncompromising level of artistry. The stainless steel case is also beautifully etched with a striking skull design, adding a touch of sophistication and intrigue. To further enhance its allure, an artificial sapphire is embedded in the side of the bezel. When viewed directly from above, 12 blue dots serve as time markers, ensuring clear visibility without obstructing the dial's engraving.

Refined Crocodile-Stitched Leather Strap

Initially, the watch came with a black cowhide strap featuring blue stitching. However, it was found to be too stiff, and thus, it has been replaced with a black strap featuring elegant crocodile stitching. This refinement adds a touch of luxury and complements the overall aesthetic of the timepiece.

Vintage Charm with Minor Imperfections

Being an old watch, there are small scratches that may not be evident in the provided photos. It is important to note and understand these imperfections before making a purchase. This timepiece embraces its vintage charm and character, making it an ideal choice for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the unique qualities of vintage watches.

Seeking a Careful and Appreciative Owner

The Rolex Custom Watch Pure Silver Skull Full Engraving 1910s awaits its next owner – someone who will appreciate and cherish its exquisite craftsmanship and historical significance. If you are someone who understands and values the beauty of vintage timepieces and is willing to provide the care it deserves, this remarkable watch may find its perfect home with you.
