Patek Phillipe Calatrava Ref.2451 SS stainless steel 1959 with archive antique
Introducing Patek Phillipe Calatrava Ref.2451
This is an antique Patek Philippe watch, a model Ref.2451, which was manufactured in 1959 and sold in 1960. It's made of stainless steel and features a white (silver) dial. The case diameter is 30.5mm (excluding the crown), and it is powered by a hand-wound Cal.10-200 movement. The watch comes with a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle and a calf leather strap (which is used but in good condition). Additionally, it includes an archive document obtained in August 2016.
This Patek Philippe watch is an antique timepiece, similar in size to the Calatrava Ref.96 but with different case shape, dial, and hands, making it the Ref.2451 model. Among these models, this stainless steel (SS) version is particularly rare. The hands and indices are made of white gold. An archive document is included with this watch. It has seen minimal use, and the calf leather strap is in excellent condition.
There are some minor scratches and signs of ageing on the dial, but considering its age, it is in very good condition. The enamel on the logo is also in excellent condition. While there are some visible scratches on the case, it retains the original stepped bezel shape. The watch features a screw-back case, making it practical for everyday wear. However, please note that this is a used item, and the condition is described subjectively, so please refrain from buying if you are looking for a perfect condition watch.
We look forward to someone who will cherish and take care of this timepiece.
