Product Description

The Patek Philippe watch Calatrava Ref.1491 in 18k Gold with a new buckle and archive paper is a valuable collectible timepiece. It was manufactured in 1951 and features a K18RG solid gold case with scroll lugs that exude artistic appeal. The watch is equipped with the CAL.27SC manual winding movement, which is the first movement developed as a dedicated center second machine. The CAL.27SC is the final model of the 27mm hand-wound movement commonly installed in Calatrava watches. The rare rose gold 18-karat gold case and distinctive lug shape give this timepiece a strong presence. The case has a diameter of approximately 34mm (excluding the crown), and it features a large crown with the Calatrava mark. The leather strap is a genuine Patek product (used), and the buckle has been replaced with a 14mm wide K18RG pure gold buckle purchased at Patek Philippe Japan. Please note that the external product shown in the image is not included. The watch exhibits small scratches on the case and windshield, as well as burns and stains on the dial and hands. However, these cosmetic imperfections do not affect its functionality or operation. The watch underwent an overhaul in October 2020, ensuring that it operates accurately and smoothly. An archive issued by Patek Philippe is also included with the watch. Please note that there are no other accessories included with this item.
